California Lutheran University’s The Alternative ministry group hosted Worship Night on Monday, April 21 in Kingsmen Park.
The event featured worship music and a message from Pastor Paul Pitts,, as well as pizza, snacks, and an ice cream cake.
Sophomore Scott Adams said one of the leaders of The Alternative invited him via social media and, after finding more information about Worship Night, he was interested in coming to the event.
“So, I’m here socializing with a bunch of people I’ve never met, or some friends that I do have currently, and I’m here to have a good time and worship God,” Adams said.
Jack Germann, one of the co-leaders of The Alternative, said this worship night’s vision was to bring people together, long-time believers and newcomers alike.
“Our goals are always to create a sort of revival on campus,” Germann said. “I’m just really glad to have this time to be with God, be with my friends, and meet strangers as well.”
