On Thursday, Sept. 15, the Center for Cultural Engagement & Inclusion (CCEI) hosted the Latinx Heritage Fiesta in honor of Latinx Heritage Month.

“The purpose of this event is to celebrate the heritage of our Latinx student body, as well as invite other students to learn about the culture through food, music, and activities,” said Bryan Salazar-Pazmino, the coordinator of the Center for Cultural Engagement & Inclusion.

Students were invited to enjoy food, activities and music in honor of celebrating Cal Lutheran’s Latinx student body. Activities included a game of Lotería, a raffle with prizes representing Latinx culture and tabling of different resources available on campus that specifically cater to the Latinx community.
