The Echo is hiring for spring 2026!

The Echo is hiring a Latinx Beat Reporter for spring 2026. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14.

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at Cal Lutheran and can have any major. For this position, students must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Be prepared to upload a resume at the end of the application.

The Echo hires a new editorial staff each academic year. Applications are generally open around spring break for the next academic year. Students of all majors are welcome to apply. Positions are paid based on available university funding. Current Echo editors who are interested in continuing to work for the newspaper must reapply every year.
