California Lutheran University’s Fall 2024 Involvement Fair provides an opportunity for students to engage with peers and find new ways to get involved on campus. The Involvement Fair allows students to learn about clubs on campus and discover new passions or hobbies.
“This year we have over 85 clubs and about 15 new pending ones,” Student Engagement Coordinator Yulissa Alvarado said.
First years Sanjay Doane and Lex Lofing attended the Involvement Fair and said they hoped to make new friends and get involved on campus. They both said they were excited for the new opportunities they were discovering.
Doane and Lofing explained how they had both joined the musicians club, which was unexpected for both of them.
Upperclassmen at the involvement fair also promoted their clubs and invited new students to join. Senior Zoe Monge said the Improv Club has been a life changing experience, and encouraged students to join.
“Go do it, it will change your life, you will meet so many friends,” Monge said.
“I love the people so much, everyone is really awesome, they all lift each other up,” Relations Director of American Medical Student Association Abby Lockman said.
