Cal Lutheran’s Student Philanthropy Council hosts annual pumpkin drive

On Tuesday, Oct. 31 the Student Philanthropy Council organized their Annual Pumpkin Drive at Kingsmen Park, where they offered pumpkins and ice cream to students who previously donated and to those who donated during the event.

The Annual Pumpkin Drive recognizes students who have already made their class gift, and draws them into making their class gift so they can participate, according to Michelle Spurgeon, senior director of Annual Giving and club advisor for the Student Philanthropy Council.ย

The SPCโ€™s next event is the Finals Care packages, where students will get to create their self-care package, finals edition, including necessities such as tea, pencils, and Scantrons. More information about the Finals Care packages will be posted on the SPC’s event page.
