T.H.R.I.V.E. program helps students de-stress with painting in the park

On April 3, 2024, California Lutheran University’s T.H.R.I.V.E. program through Wellness Resources hosted a painting in the park for students.

T.H.R.I.V.E. is a program presented by Wellness Resources that promotes health and well-being.

Senior Ashley Darr said it’s nice to get outside and “enjoy the outdoors and sunlight.”

T.H.R.I.V.E. stands for “Together, Helping Reach Individual Victories Everyday,” according to Wellness Resources.

Junior Anthony Perez said when he heard about the event, it sounded like “such a chill idea with school coming to an end, and everything going into crunch time and getting a little tough, a little stressful.”

There are two groups within T.H.R.I.V.E.: Adulting 101 and Healthy YOU at CLU.

Adulting 101 meetings are held every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Kingsmen Room of the Student Union. Healthy YOU at CLU meetings are held every Monday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. also in the Kingsmen Room of the Student Union.

To sign up for either program, you can fill out their registration form.
