Hello CLU Students,

Associated Students of California Lutheran University Government (ASCLUG): ASCLUG is primarily made up of two branches, Senate and Programs Board. The boards are there to perform projects, plan events, and enhance the student experience.

Why is it that we, as ASCLUG, do what we do? What is it that sets us apart from other departments on campus? What is our mission, our purpose, and our goals? The answer to that question is YOU.ย  As clichรฉ as that sounds, itโ€™s the truth. ASCLUG is made up of students to serve students.ย  This can be considered one of the purest forms of government because it truly is run by the students and for the students.

With that said, the ASCLUG is a representation of YOU, the student body. The ASCLUG is there to represent the student body, the university, and the spirit of CLU. This is our school, this is our student body, and this is our ASCLUG, so letโ€™s make it the best it can possibly be. That said, come to a meeting; Senate and Programs Board meet on Monday nights at 5:20 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., respectively, in Swenson 101, and have your voice heard.

With Cal Lutheran pride,

Andre Andoyan

ASCLU President โ€™13-โ€™14
