Last Wednesday, Monique “Ms. Mo” Nunes, University President John Nunes’ wife, invited students to their home for a fall-themed meet-and-greet event.
“It’s a wonderful event to hang out with people from around the campus as well as our new president and Ms. Mo,” senior Rylli Matter said. “It was just one of those things where I knew I would feel welcomed and have so much fun.”
Junior Elizabeth Marquez said that events like these are important because they provide the opportunity to connect with one another and meet new people.
“Ms. Mo and the president have always been such a welcoming force and face that ever since they started here it’s been such a joy to talk to them … it was just one of those things where I knew I would feel welcomed and have so much fun,” Matter said.
