“My family is Puerto Rican and Dominican, and for Christmas, we always make a traditional Puerto Rican, like, eggnog type of thing. It's not really eggnog, it's with coconut, but it's called coquito,” senior Alyha Rivera said.

“I'm Filipino so on New Year's Eve, we do a lot of like Asian traditions, like we collect like 12 fruits… it's like good luck basically like collecting fruits is good luck. We like to open all the cabinets because it lets in good luck. We open all the doors. Just a lot of Asian traditions are very fun to participate in,” sophomore Sabrina Levya.

“I've always been in choir, so I really like just Christmas concerts and Christmas music in general, any kind. That's my favorite holiday tradition,” junior Cori Pizano said.

“My favorite holiday tradition, because “...I have so many like cousins and stuff, and a lot of them are little ones, so during Christmas, we just put all of the presents around the tree at my grandma's house and then we count down and just have everybody go for the tree and try to find their presents and it's a lot of fun and super chaotic,” junior Zoe Monge said.

“My favorite holiday tradition would have to be the food that is present in my household during the holidays because my mom makes really good cookies and it's a family recipe… it's not a family secret, but it's a well-known tradition that we make this recipe and then we give it out to our closest friends,” junior Landon Stouch said.
